Hejsan alla,
Hej allihopa,
Come join us this Sunday for the Swedish Cultural Center pancake breakfast! If you’ve never been before, now is the time to go. It’s authentic Swedish food, for free!!
We will be busing down there as a group. We will be meeting at 10:20 at the bus stop on the Ave and 41st (southbound). We’re taking the 30 to Westlake and Crockett (in case you miss our bus you can take the next one).

Hej allihopa,
Okej, we’re trying something new. We’re going to do a tutoring fika: anyone in any level of Swedish can drop in to get homework help and tutoring. You may have already heard about this if you’re in a Swedish class. Hope is a 3rd year student and I’ve finished 3rd year, so hopefully we can answer your questions and help sufficiently! Since we have no idea how many people will show up, we can’t really guarantee one-on-one tutoring. If the turnout is big we’ll try to be general and focus on things that are relevant for your quizzes coming up.
5:30 this Wednesday at Cafe Koinonia (Roosevelt & 41st). Be there!
Also, we will be busing down to the Swedish Cultural Center pancake breakfast this Sunday. More details on that in a later email.

Hej allihopa,
We got a room for the food night tomorrow at 6: Denny 205. Hope to see you there. We will be making krumkakor and playing games, and if the room allows such a thing perhaps even watching a movie!

Hej allihopa,
Our first fika of the new year is coming up on Wednesday. It’s at 5:30 at Cafe Koinonia (Roosevelt & 41st). We will have a few Sweden-related games to play at the fika.
Also, some good news: the club got more than $500 from our Lucia performance. Great job everyone. Some said it was the best ever. Let’s use this money to put on great Swedish Club events! We will talk about potential events and plan some things during the meeting. Please bring your ideas to the meeting! IKEA trip? Movies? Food nights?
See you there.

On Wednesday, Nov. 30th at 6:30 we will be having a Holiday Food Night! This will be instead of that day’s Lucia rehearsal.
Come de-stress from school/Lucia/whatever and eat delicious food with us! We will be doing this instead of Lucia rehearsal and it will be super fun.
We will be making glögg, pepparkakor, and other assorted Scandinavian dishes. If you have a fun recipe or want to bring something please feel free! We will also have fun Swedish-related activities (surprise!).
Location: 5625 15th Ave NE (Ponderay Apartments, bright red building)
